Elder Davis shares a story from the MTC

We are all like the rough rocks on the beach, sharp, jagged, imperfect.  As the rocks are washed over with sand and water they become smooth, rounded and polished.  The sand and water are the trials we face throughout our lives.  As we suffer them and persevere, we become perfect.  We must stand our ground through trials just as the rocks do.
